I saw this guy at the Under 19 European Championships and he ran the show for the Czech Republic.

I heard that there is a youngster called Nathaniel Clyne at Crystal Palace

Yeah, I read an interesting article on Simon Kjaer in Calcio Italia recently. They mentioned that both Juve and Milan could potentially see him as the heir to Alessandro Nesta's throne! I haven't seen him play though but he sounds like a promising player.

I SAW THIS LAD IN THE MILK CUP TOURNAMENT IN NORTHERN IRELAND 2008. I BECAME FRIENDLY WITH HIS FATHER ON THE TOUCHLINE AND CHATTED ABOUT HIS EVER GROWING REPUTATION AND ATTITUDE.
ON A FOOTBALLING NOTE HE IS A TOUGH TACKLING MIDFIELD GENERAL IN THE PAUL SCHOLES MOULD WITH ABILITY TO PICK A PASS AND CONTROL AND HOLD THE BALL WITH CONFIDENCE. WAS BY FAR THE LOUDEST PLAYER ON THE PITCH AND HIS LEADERSHIP WAS IMMENSE THROUGHOUT THE 2 GAMES I WATCHED. ONE OF THE GAMES AGAINST BRONDBY OF DENMARK HE WAS EASILY THE BEST PLAYER ON THE PITCH AND HIS FATHER HAS PHONED ME TO SAY HE WILL BE THERE AT THE TOURNAMENT AGAIN FOR 2009. I ONLY WATCHED THE GAME BECAUSE HE HAD THE SAME SURNAME AS ME AND I'M GLAD I DID AS IT WAS A PLEASURE. I FOR ONE AM GOING AGAIN THIS YEAR AND WILL JOT A FEW PLAYERS DOWN DURING THE WEEK LONG TOURNAMENT.

He is 17 years old and has not previously played for any clubs to my knowledge but he is a solid, intelligent and composed defender that can play anywhere accross the back four. When operating at full back he does like to get forward but will ultimately do his job as a defender very well. I can't quite understand why he hasn't previously been to any clubs as he is consistent and a very talented footballer.
